Welcome back to I Am Serene L!!! Today I’ll be sharing with you all a collaboration post I’m doing with *Wishtrend on the Klairs – Supple Preparation Unscented Toner.
The *Klairs – Supple Preparation toner comes in 2 options, with a scented and an unscented version.ย The kind marketing team at *Wishtrend sent me the unscented version of the *Klairs – Suppleย Preparation Toner as I’m allergic to a some ingredients, and the unscented version is a more gentle type of toner, which I am in love with!!!
Theย ย *Klairs – Supple Preparation Unscented Toner is a very lightweight, moisturising toner for oily skin types, which is what I have and I have especially oily skin on my t-zone area. The Toner is aimed also at combination, and sensitive skin types and as I’m Eczema prone, I believe that using gentle type skincare is important to prevent my skin from irritation.
The *Klairs – Supple Preparation Unscented Toner has no essential oils and is free from any harsh ingredients!!! Making it very gentle and soft on the skin. It’s a transparent gel like toner, that is a bit thick in its consistency but once on the skin, it really doesn’t take a long time to absorb… in fact once you pat the toner onto your face it takes a few seconds for it to completely set and it’s not sticky or irritating, it dries matte on the face!!! ….
The aim of the *Klairs – Supple Preparation Unscented Toner is to restore the skins hydration, the purpose of this toner isn’t to fight blemishes (as main toners do)… this one is definitely a unique type of toner, and I love how special it is! I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve noticed that there was a high improvement of hydration to my skins surface, and felt like the appearance of my skin looked healthier and more glowy, and I strongly believe it’s through the addition of using this wonderful *Klairs – Supple Preparation Unscented Toner!!!
The shelf life of the *Klairs Toner is about 1 year once you open it, and will last for up to 3 years if unopened, so it really has a long shelf life!!! …. I also love the cute packaging, I love that the bottle is transparent, and that the formula is also transparent, and I love the screw of lid. The bottles dispenses just enough toner in one go, and a little goes a long way!!! 2 squirts of the toner will be enough to apply on your whole face!!! …. in terms of using a toner and when to use a toner, I would suggest after cleansing that you follow on from cleansing by applying a toner!!!… and then your oils, serums, and moisturiser!!!
Back onto packaging I love the purple box, and the white typography I think it adds a bit of character and flare to the product, ad definitely is a gorgeous bottle to have on your skincare cabinet / dressing area!!!, and it really does star in my skincare area!!! hehehe!!!
|| How to Apply ||
You can apply the toner in 2 ways:
- Through squirting the toner onto the palm of your hand and directly patting on your face, and then massaging into the skin using a circular hand motion until the formula is absorbed.
- You can apply some of the toner on a cotton pad, and then dab the toner filled cotton pad on your face until the formula is absorbed into the skin.

Sooo glad they made an unscented version, I can be sensitive to smell! And the toner seems absolutely perfect for skin, especially in summer! Need to try this toner from Klairs!
