Welcome back to I Am Serene L. I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to the week!!! Today will be a lovely blogpost dedicated to the new Lime Crime – Matte Velvetines Liquid Lipstick in the colour Cashmere! I’m feeling a little under the weather today as I’m writing this post and am currently lying in bed trying to feel better. It was snowing yesterday, here in London and it’s been very cold and I’m feeling absolutely poorly (but at least I got to enjoy the snow yesterday)!!!
I am doing a 3 x part liquid lipstick series as mentioned on my social media, with three different brands and 3 different lipsticks as I’m addicted to liquid lipsticks and love them in different colour but I really always look for a matte finished liquid lipstick!!! In the liquid lipstick series, I’ll be reviewing Lime Crime – Matte Velvetines Liquid Lipstick in Cashmere today, and will review the Urban Decay –Vice Liquid Lipstick in Backtalk on my next post.

The Lime Crime Matte Velvetines range is a gorgeous collection of Soft matte finish liquid lipsticks. I’m reviewing the shade Cashmere, which is a gorgeous grey, and beige mixed matte liquid lipstick. It looks great on my skin tone, but with a slightly more tanned skin tone, as the beige / greyness will POP!!!! Don’t get me wrong I love the colour on me, but I feel like this looks too natural on me and I love colours that pop, so I might venture into trying Lime Crime – Buffy next…. But I’ve bought Teddy Bear as well by Lime Crime, and that colour is a favourite repurchase of mine, over and over again! LOL!!!
The Lime Crime – Matte velvetines dry to a soft matte finish, and blend with ease onto the lips! They’re so PIGMENTED that you’ll only need one layer, and the lipstick will last for 10+ hours on the lips! I also love the gorgeous red packaging is stunning and this is what I love about Lime Crime, so much cuteness in one tube! I love the matte finish of the tubes & the fact that you can see inside the tubes to see how much lipstick is left inside and I love the roses printed onto the packaging <3 !!! It adds a touch of glam and I’d feel excited to pull this little liquid lipstick out of my handbag :)!!!
The Brush applicator is a great tool to easily apply and glide the liquid lipstick onto the lips, and one layer and dipping the brush into the tube of Cashmere is enough to cover your entire lips, and you’ll be wowed by the pigmentation and the intensity of the colour pay off!!!

Overall, I 100% recommend trying out this Lime Crime – Matte Velvetines range, and love love love the Cashmere colour and look forward to trying out some more colours from the gorgeous range. Please stay tuned for the last part of my liquid lipstick series!!!
