Hi everyone!!!
I am back on I Am Serene L!!! and I have some exciting news before I start my post, I’ve recently started a new job at Cult Beauty :D… & I’m excited as I’m makeup obsessed, so working at Cult Beauty will be the add to the obsession I have for makeup… LOL!!! <3 and all the makeup you get to see, heaven!!!
Onto today’s post ๐ I’m going to be talking to you all about the Milk Makeup Blur Stick in the Mini version! My friend kindly picked me up one on her holiday to New York in February, and I asked her to bring me back this lovely little thing to try… and I have tried and tested it!!! … and I will be very honest I’m not impressed very much with this Blur Stick.
The Milk Makeup – Blur Stick Mini is a colourless primer that’s oil- and silicone-free aimed to blur the look of imperfections on all skin tones. It says it’s suitable for all skin tones as it blends into the skin transparent, despite the light appearance of the Blur Stick.
From using the Milk Makeup – Blur Stick, I noticed that although the product is aimed to reduce the effects of imperfections, pores and all that stuff, I applied this onto my face a couple of times and noticed that YES, it made makeup application smoother on my face and allowed me to blend my makeup a bit better, buttttt with that it doesn’t work really great at blurring the actual imperfections, and although it mentions that this product is oil free, I noticed that the appearance of my oil build up was quicker throughout the day along my T-ZONE …. WHICH IS A NO NO, and that I’ve started getting a couple of blemishes on my cheek (NO)… I have only been using this primer as a new product… and I think this could be a cause….
The Milk Makeup – Blur Stick Mini is aimedย to reduce the appearance of pores, which I believe it hasn’t worked so well on my skin, but however, does blend the foundation on top with ease, but with that even oil build occurs as mentioned before.
I would definitely not recommend this product for oily skin types I say, that trialling this (and I have an oily skin) … I would say this product would work for a dry skin type more, as it will enable you to blend your makeup on top with ease, and will help to blur out imperfections and add a bit of moisturise and oil and glow.
There are however, some positives, in regards to this Blur Stick, in regards to the pricing, the mini version is priced at $14.00 / ยฃ10.00 which is a fairly priced product instead of the larger version which is priced at $36 / ยฃ25.78 & this version is a great alternative to test out the product before you buy the normal sized version. I also enjoy that the product is in a twist product tube and it’s able to pull up just the right amount of product to apply onto the face and then you can safely close and store away the Blur Stick with ease. I also love that it’s travel size, and you can easily carry this around in your handbag for on the go, and touch ups!!! Another little positive the Milk Makeup – Blur Stick Mini does blend and dry into the skin in a soft matte texture, and takes a couple of seconds to blend into the skin…. which is great … but it’s the oil build up during the day which I don’t care for!!!
I would say this little thing works better as a little imperfection touch up Blur Stick, rather than a primer. I wouldn’t pull for this often, however if I was to use this product it wouldn’t be used as a primer, but rather a product I will reach to in my handbag if I need to smoothen out a little part of my face, for makeup reapplication.
Overall, I wouldn’t repurchase this Milk Makeup – Blur Stick Mini for myself, and wouldn’t recommend this for oily skin typed Gals and Boys, however I would recommend this for a person with combination or dry skin ๐

Thanks so much sweetie <3 xoxo
With the exception of the eyes, I donโt really like stick products when it comes to makeup so I probably wouldnโt have tried this but your review is helpful if Iโm ever tempted hehe Congratulations on all the positive things happening for you!
