Hi Everyone!
I am excited to be talking to you all about my new favourite Finishing spray from NYX. Now I have combination skin, with a bit of oiliness on my T-zone area, and others dry. So I always look for a product to set my face properly, so that any accidental melting situations can be avoided, because you really don’t want your makeup to sweat when you’re out and about!
So I recently bought a NYX – Matte Finish Setting Spray from my friend Nikki‘s Depop page, she blog’s over ย @ LoveLaughslipstick.com!
I love almost everything about this setting spray, the packaging looks great and is Black and white, for modern effect… it almost always mimics the look of MAC & NARS packaging…but I would prefer if the spray bottle was see through like the Fix+ from MAC in order to see how much content is available, and also initially the smell is a bit strong at first when you spray it… it smells a bit like beer for some reason…but then the scent disappears and leaves your skin refreshed and hydrated.
Now from the negatives, back onto the good things about this amazing Spray….. So firstly, the ยฃ7.00 price tag is a bargain in itself, especially for a setting spray… so that is definitely worth a little spend on to trial out!!! I’ve sprayed about 2 sprays of this on my face and the formula feels very light on the skin. It instantly dries on the skin and keeps your face hydrated and feels absolutely fresh, and perfect for HOURS!… I’ve used this spray and its managed to keep my oil at bay for up to 10+ hours wear! It also doesn’t interfere with any foundation / setting spray / eyeshadow products and keeps your face looking perfectly matte! so definitely a winner in my eyes!

This setting spray has always been in my wish list but I got the Mac Fix+ Prep n prime instead.

I will definitely try it.
I like the fix+ as a prep n prime and not a setting spray because it leaves me too hydrated when I need to look matte.
I always forget about setting spray, but I got a sample of an Urban Decay one and really enjoyed using it. This sounds like a good one too and like you say, a great price! x

Ohh, I’ve seen the new packaging for the all nighters UD setting spray! ๐ผ๐ I can’t wait to test that one after, with your recommendation, that will be my next setting spray! purchase! Hehe you should defo try this one Kate, it keeps your makeup flawlessly matte for many many hours ๐ with no need for touch ups! And the price is really the cherry on top of the cake ๐ xoxo
I’m really curious about trying this! I have the UD ‘Chill’ one and, although it is brilliant, I’m not sure if I would repurchase due to the price haha, if this one works just as well I will be sorted ๐ xx
